Dr. Christine Shea is Associate Dean of Graduate Programs and Research and is Associate Professor of Technology and Operations Management at the Whittemore School of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire. She received her Ph.D. in Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario. She has taught courses in technology, operations, and program management in undergraduate, graduate and executive programs in the U.S. and abroad.

After completing her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Business Administration, Dr. Shea spent ten years in various management capacities in the aerospace industry. Her work spanned several functional areas including contracts, materials, project, and operations management. She is a researcher and consultant in the areas of leadership, technological innovation management and nanotechnology-based innovation. Her publications include articles in The Journal of Business Venturing, Group and Organization Management, The Journal of Engineering and Technology Management, The Journal of Product Innovation Management, The Journal of Business, The Journal of Management, Leadership Quarterly and The Journal of Quality Management. She is an active member of the Academy of Management and the Decision Sciences Institute.
