Elective options under the Full-time and Part-time MBA includes study of how firms pioneer Corporate Social Responsibility, how they were influenced, and how others were thereby inspired to do the same. This research will help to identify how CSR values are transmited through corporate and social networks, and the influence of these values on regional entrepreneurship. |
Full-time MBA Career Services
Students in the Full-time MBA program are supported in their development of the skills they will need to manage their careers, not only at time of graduation, but well into the future. Career services include self-assessment and career planning; industry knowledge development; networking; resume writing and interviewing skills development; and opportunity identification and follow-up. Services are provided by business leaders, library personnel, alumni, the University Advising and Career Center (UACC) and networking consultants.
The Career Development program for Fall 2009 is a combination of group and individual sessions. It includes group sessions focused on career exploration and interest assessment, job search strategy career exploration and interest assessment, job search strategy and communication, the development of interviewing and personal presentations skills, and network building to assist them in leveraging their skills in a competitive job market.
