JD/MBA Dual Degree
with UNH Law
UNH Law, in conjunction with the Whittemore School of Business & Economics at UNH, offers a dual JD/MBA program for students seeking the benefits of both degrees. The integration of these two degrees enables students to graduate with a rich understanding of how legal and business issues are increasingly related in a complex global economy.
The UNH Full-Time MBA offers limited class size and real-life business challenges geared toward providing students with the professional skills and technical knowledge they need in order to succeed in today’s innovation-based global economy. MBA classes are held on the UNH campus in Durham, which offers all the opportunities of a major research university.
The dual degree program gives students the opportunity to earn both their JD and their MBA in less time, a projected 3.5 years, than if both degrees were pursued separately. For most students, this means completing their first year of law school and then spending the following year at the Whittemore School in an intensive Full Time MBA program before returning to UNH Law for three more semesters of legal education. In addition to saving time and money, dual degree students will have the added value of belonging to the networks of students and alumni at both UNH and UNH Law.
