Week of March 10, 2008
It has been a bit of a rough week. It was the end of another semester, so we had final projects to finish and exams to take. However, the anticipation of leaving for China has made the beginning of the week extraordinarily slow! Week of March 3, 2008
This week is another lull before the storm. Many of us skiers spent the weekend getting in some more ski days before we leave for China; the snow has been fantastic this year! For someone who moved here from Maryland, this winter has been a dream come true. Academically, the big event was a group project for Managerial Decision Making. These projects were very open ended; all groups had to model a solution for a healthcare problem.
Week of February 25, 2008
We went to another UNH hockey game; an experience I completely recommend. The games are a lot of fun. Next weekend we hope to get a group together to go skiing since our days are numbered before we ship out for our International Residency - 10-days in Shanghai, China!!! We are so excited.
Week of February 18, 2008
This is a very busy week. On Monday, my teammate and I are submitting a 2-page summary of our business plan from our Entrepreneurship class into the Holloway Competition. The competition consists of multiple stages in which members of the UNH community compete for prizes on the basis of their new ideas - examples include lifestyle products and technology products. Our submission is in the lifestyle segment, so we will see if we make it to the next round!
Week of January 28, 2008
So much for being prepared ahead of time, a lot of work has recently come upon us. It is close to midterms, so it does make sense. As for our schedule, we have a MDM assignment due, a group exam, multiple business plan parts, and a lot of readings. Again, suggestion: keep up on the readings.
