UNH Students Place First in Environmental Design Contest

A team of University of New Hampshire business and engineering students won first place in their task at the 2008 Environmental Design Contest held April 6-9, 2008, at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, N.M.

This course will notably increase knowledge and understanding of the private equity financing market, develop analytical skills in evaluating private equity financing details, learn from the experience of market practitioners, and enhance oral and written presentation skills. Prereq: ADMN 601 and senior standing.

Internship in Entrepreneurial and Management Practice

The course involves working for leading companies and dynamic entrepreneurs, as well as classroom instruction. The priority experiential, real-world, and real-time learning in the high growth environment of entrepreneurial ventures. Focus on several topic areas, including Venture Capital. Prereq: Senior standing; permission. (Also listed as MGT 742.)

Course Title: 
Exploration in Entrepreneurial Management

Examines the management of change and innovation, especially the role of entrepreneur in managing new ventures. Uses case analysis, guest speakers, and business plan preparation to study the characteristic behavioral, organizational, financial, and marketing problems of entrepreneurs and new enterprises. Prereq: ADMN 601, 611, and 651. Writing intensive.
